Born and raised in NC into a Military family, as the last of 5 siblings, Monica always found herself along side her family volunteering and being a pillar in her community. Whether it was serving the youth, or the seniors, she and her family were always there to promote joy and kindness in all capacities. This up bringing propelled Monica in her professional career, where she became the Director of Client Services as part of her Portfolio, and ended her career as the Vice President of Operations. 

Married 35 years with two children, she found her calling through being a caregiver after her husband suffered from end stage renal disease due to a stroke, and her late mother, mother in law, and sister all passed from cancer. Whether it was transportation, companionship, or household needs, it was a responsibility that required help and Monica always felt compelled to offer her complete support for the family. 

Her servant leadership background, combined with her corporate dedication and commitment, solidified her compassion and experience for being a caregiver. She founded LASTAC (Lovin Arms Senior Transportation and Care), to provide an extension of care for Seniors, support caregivers by offering a secure piece of mind concerning their loved ones, and to allow Seniors to continue to thrive by maintaining a level of independence and activism.
